Wolf Run Series ~ Dry Wolf 2027 Information

Howdy folks! The WOLF RUN SERIES (formerly the Bull Run & Bike) would like to introduce our new half marathon series - the Wolf Trifecta! This series will consist of three half marathons, one each year for the next three years.
In 2027 we will be on course for, "Dry Wolf!" Situated in the drainage just over the mountain from Running Wolf, this mostly flat and downhill course meanders down the county gravel road for 9 miles where it turns right, finishing the last 4 miles on the same stretch as the Running Wolf route. Then in 2028, we will feature the "Big Bad Wolf!" This course also begins in the Little Belt Mountains on a less-maintained county road, making this course the most challenging of the three. Although you will finish at a lower elevation than where you started, the multiple rolling hills will add inspiring elevation gains and losses along the route. In 2028, we present the "Running Wolf" route, which starts in the Little Belt Mountains, close to the start of previous year's run. This mostly downhill course continues for 9 miles down the county gravel road, at which point it veers right, to finish at a new destination. No more crossing the busy highway! Complete all 3 races in the Wolf Trifecta and not only can you claim bragging rights of "I conquered the Wolf!," you'll also receive a commemorative race T-shirt and awesome medal to showcase your accomplishments! Grab your friends and challenge each other! Set a goal, schedule your training, and plan to visit beautiful Central Montana for the next 3 summers! Individual runners and bikers are welcome to participate! Please note: we are discontinuing the team category for these races but are adding a 5K running race to go along with our 1-mile fun run, so you should be able to find a distance that suits you! Proceeds from both races will benefit Basin Wellness Center, a facility in-the-making with the goal of "bringing health and wellness to Judith Basin County." Start time for the half marathon races is 6:30 a.m. 5K Race will start at 9:00 AM. 1-mile fun run will start at 10:00 AM. Further instructions of where to meet up will be provided the week before the race.
